Hotel was central, clean, good shower but we found noise at night made it hard to sleep. There must be some club or pub as there was techno music after midnight. We didn’t notice it in our first day so it

We booked this hotel online because of it’s proximity to many of the tourist sights.
We were surprised to find that the entrance was behind an unprepossessing large wooden door, accessed by a door bell, and leading into a rather scruffy courtyard, but after a trip up to the first floor in the small elevator, we found ourselves in a modern boutique hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. The room and bed were very comfortable, with and the breakfast was tasty.
I felt that this hotel was well situated, and very good value for money.
I stayed in this hotel over the first weekend of August, it was reasonably hot outside, but the air-conditioning worked well and the room stayed cool.
The room was simply furnished, the wardrobe was actually quite small, but sufficient for a short stay. The room was clean and the bed linen was not worn or torn, as I have experienced in Budapest at more expensive hotels.
The bathroom was clean with reasonable quality towels. All of the bathroom facilities worked well, especially the shower, which was large and efficient.
I had requested a room with a double bed, but was provided with one with two single beds. The room was large and had an excellent view of the park and the large wheel, however as it was on the front facing the main road it was quite noisy, especially late at night with the youngsters in the park and my first night stay was quite disturbed. Also as access to the building is via a bell downstairs which buzzes at the reception area, it was quite annoying every time some guest want to come in as it was very audible.
It would have been nice to have had a fridge in the room and also a personal safe to store valuables. A plug in the bathroom sink would also have been nice and some hooks or hangers where it would have been possible to hang the towels in the bathroom.
The staff were friendly, especially the lady manageress and the kitchen staff were also quite accommodating.
Breakfast was adequate, with both cold and hot choices, with eggs, bacon etc. as well as more healthier options. The coffee was good.
If I chose to stay here again I would request a room away from reception and the main road.
This was just perfect for me. In late June when the temperature was around 30 degrees, the air-con kept us nice and cool for the four nights that we were there and I slept well every night. Comfortable bed and good pillows (although I asked for an extra one) Great bathroom, powerful shower, and enough variety in the breakfast room for you to eat quite healthily if you wish or you can eat unlimited bacon, sausage, eggs, ham etc. Excellent location, in an area surrounded by bars and restaurants but our room was quiet and peaceful, overlooking the inner courtyard. Staff spoke English and also gave us a recommendation to eat in the Vak Varju restaurant which turned out to be a very good choice.
